FFXI
.dats
Below you
will find a number of altered .dats for FFXI, all of these are of my
own creation. The downloadable file is a zip, as opposed to the actual
.dats, just because Windows and some browsers tend to think you're
messing with the system or something if you download a .dat. Some of
the .dats are titled as the body piece they replace, ie leg, body, etc.
For these it's up to you to figure out what .dat to replace it with.
Others are titled 1-XX-YY. This is how the modelviewer shows the file's
location, 1 meaning the ROM folder in your FFXI folder (as opposed to
ROM2 or ROM3). XX being the folder number within ROM, and the
YY being the file name. I take no responsibility if you fudge
up your computer or FFXI by messing with these.
Do NOT
upload any of these files to another site. The originals are here, and
this should be the ONLY place the files can be directly downloaded
from. Don't try to be cute and alter a file slightly then upload it
somewhere else, either. That does not make you creative or unique, it
makes you a jackass. The only thing you may do is link to these
downloads, but only if you give me, Nakate, credit for creating it.

| Turned out much better than I
expected. Some liberties were
taken in the design to make the mod easier.
My only complaint is the coffin goes below you when sitting, as opposed
to flipping back. This is probably going to be my last mod. If not, it
will be a long time before I make anything new. |

| With the recent discovery of how VRS
works, I decided to put it to the test. I remade my original Disgaea
armor, doing it how it really should have been
made. Also converted it to Elvaan
F and Hume F. |

This
is based loosly on the Ragnarok Online dancer. Also converted to Elvaan

that did the Elvaan F Shiva. On request by a few people, I did Shiva
for mithra as well. I'll also admit whoever did the Shiva for Elvaan F
either knows a lot more about modding than me or is really patient. I
could do the mod as well as he did it, but it would take forever, so I
assume he simply knows more than me. |

problem with the feet, but thanks to Nomido, they have now been fixed. |

| This is another head-equipable dat.
I've currently made this for all races, and I've learned how to get rid
of the red glow. I have only made glowless files for mithra
and humeF, but will do others on request. The one shown,
pulled straight from the NPC is download1, download2 is an assembly of
files where I made the wings the same color, ie. all red, all white,
for various races, getting rid of the glow on some. |
