Act I Janice: Pat said I had to come tho this party. Lots of interesting men. But I don't know, oh, it's been a long day and Pat is so hyper. You know, I think I might just go home instead (door opens). Pat: Janice, Hi! Come on in! Act II Pat: Is this a party or what? Look at these men. Look at that one. Is he cute! Ooh, how about that one? Well maybe not that one, but how about him? That's Howard, he's a shrink, just like you, you'll have lots to talk about. Howard? Act III Howard: So, Janice. Tell me about yourself. Janice: Well, I... Howard: (interrupting) You're shy. Hmm. I like that in a woman. Janice: Well, I.. Howard: (interrupting again) But you're passionate too. I can see it. In your eyes. Janice: Oh, I don't... Howard: (interrupting yet again) You don't want to admit it. Most girls don't! Janice: Waves good-by and leaves. Howard: Where you going? Janice? Howard: (taking on the persona of Freud) Women. What do they want? Act IV Pat: (thinking) It is so warm in here. Things are starting to look weird. I need air! Pat: Janice. It's panic attack time! Janice: Not again! Pat: Let's get out of here! Janice: Pat! You live here! This is your party! Pat: Are YOU having fun? Janice: No... Both: LET'S GO! |
